Guaranty Bank & Trust Facility Acquisition

The Town of Berthoud has purchased the Guaranty Bank and Trust building at 807 Mountain Avenue for the purpose of Town Hall operations and customer service.  A public open house will be scheduled at a future date to welcome the community to the new facility.

Read about the details here.

The timing of the joint press release regarding the acquisition of Guaranty Bank & Trust was based on considerations of both parties. Management and employees of the bank needed to be informed prior to information becoming public, this was timed with scheduling the item to go before the Town Board of Trustees. On March 8, 2016 the item was scheduled for discussion and no action was taken at that time. Staff was directed to bring back a thorough presentation on the needs of the Town and financing of the purchase for consideration and a decision will be made on March 22, 2016. The meeting will begin at 6:30 in the Board Room located at Town Hall, 328 Massachusetts.
