The Town of Berthoud is centrally located in the northern Front Range four miles west of I-25 on Highway 56 (Exit 250).

 

PRESCRIPTION DRUG COLLECTION

The Berthoud Police Department will be collecting expired, unwanted or unused pharmaceutical controlled substances.  For complete information click here:

4th STREET SIGNAL

CDOT has scheduled replacement of the signal at 4th and Mountain for mid-September.  CDOT will notify the Town once a more definate date is available. This project is funded and managed by CDOT.  During the signal replacement a temporary four way stop will be put in place at that intersection.

ROUNDABOUT UPDATE

The roundabout is now open. 

The majority of the landscaping for the roundabout is complete with the exception of around the future sign.  Once the sign is installed, landscaping will be completed.

1st Street is now open.  There are additional signs that will be installed in the next two weeks.

 EARLY WARNING SYSTEM

Berthoud is a member of the Larimer Emergency Telephone Authority (LETA).  Residents of Larimer County can register to receive emergency notifications on home telephone, cell phone, email address, fax or work telephone.  Emergency warnings could be flood, wild fire, police activity, natural gas leak, or severe weather such as tornado watchs and warnings.

Mountain Avenue Phase 3 Construction Update

Construction on Mountain Avenue will continue west between 6th and 8th Streets for roadwork reconstruction.

Due to the existing condition of the roadway, there will be a two block closure until the street is rebuilt with a road base section.  Local business and pedestrian access will be maintained as much as possible during the closure.

Pavement installation is scheduled for the week of September 6th.
