Employee Benefit Overview
The Town of Berthoud offers generous benefits for eligible employees. These benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Group Health Insurance
All permanent full-time employees are eligible for a high-deductible HSA health plan. The Town will contribute to the employee's deductible by fully funding the employee's health savings account.
Coverage is paid in full by employer for employee only coverage. Spouse, child, and family coverage are subject to eligibility requirements in the employee handbook.

Vision insurance
The Town provides vision insurance to eligible employees through Guardian. The Guardian vision plan offers coverage using the VSP Choice Network.
Dental Coverage
Dental insurance is provided through Guardian at two different plan levels for eligible employees.

These benefits are subject to change with or without notice. Not all employees are eligible to receive all benefits as described above. Not all benefits described above are paid for by the Town.
Machine Readable Files
Machine-readable files are made available in response to the federal Transparency in Coverage Rule and includes negotiated service rates and out-of-network allowed amounts between health plans and healthcare providers. The machine readable files are formatted to allow researchers, regulators, and application developers to more easily access and analyze data.
