Public Works
The Town of Berthoud Public Works Department oversees the management and maintenance of the public parks, open spaces, trails, streets, storm water drainage, Greenlawn Cemetery, and some town facilities and trees and processes the right-of-way permits. The Department is made up of the four divisions:

Forestry
Maintains town trees to provide a safe, aesthetic, and sustainable urban forest. Duties includes maintenance of trees within our parks, natural areas, cemetery, and town-owned facilities.

Open Space & Trails
Maintains all aspects of Berthoud's Open Spaces, Natural Areas, and town-owned trail system.

Parks
Maintains all aspects of Berthoud's parks and park facilities. Duties include turf mowing, pond maintenance, clearing sidewalks, and athletic field preparation.

Streets & Drainage
Maintains streets, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and storm drains and processes right-of-way permits within Town of Berthoud. Provides snow removal and facility maintenance for the Town.
