To protect yourself and your family, and help keep the numbers down as much possible, it is important to check your property for standing water. The inside of tires, empty flower pots, and bird baths are some of the most common mosquito breeding grounds. To protect yourself remember the Four Ds: DRAIN standing water, DRESS in light colored, long sleeve shirts and pants, DEFEND by wearing insect repellent, and at DAWN or DUSK, stay indoors when possible.
