May Albrecht is a Northern Colorado native who planted roots in beautiful Berthoud 9 years ago. Albrecht is a mother of 3 who has served the last several years in local emergency services as a Public Information Officer, she is an award-winning local journalist, and is the owner of her own business. She is passionate about the history and character of Berthoud, its quaint charm, its vibrancy, sustainability, and its public safety. Her family is very active in the community and loves calling Berthoud home. Her aspiration as Trustee is to selflessly serve the citizens of Berthoud and continually advocate for their voice to be represented on all matters. She believes that as the town grows it's important that humility and unity guides decision-making so that future generations are blessed by thoughtful decisions of the town board.
