Active Town Projects

Berthoud’s Wastewater Treatment Plant is one of the most important systems serving the community. To keep it operating safely, reliably, and in compliance with state regulations, the Town is completing a Wastewater Treatment Process Improvement Project. This project focuses on upgrading how wastewater is treated, improving water quality, protecting the environment, and ensuring the system can support Berthoud’s future.

There you will find conceptual plans as well as our Parks Master Plans. Please note that some of the designs in the Future tab have been approved, while others have only been presented to the Town Board and have not been formally approved.

The Town has both a 5-year Road Repair Plan and a 5-Year Sidewalk Repair Plan. These are ongoing projects.

The 30,000 square foot building at 270 Mountain Ave was originally constructed in 1971 and has historically been used for a variety of light industrial uses. It sits on a 1.66-acre site and is zoned M-1 (Light Industrial). The property has been for sale for many years and there is one lease tenant in the building currently that occupies approximately 15,000 square feet.
